PHILLIPS 66 X/C® AVIATION HYDRAULIC FLUID 5606H UPGRADED TO 5606J

By on Oct 15th 2019

Aviation applications are regularly put to the test, facing extreme aerospace conditions, and Phillips 66 X/C 5606J Aviation Hydraulic Fluid is specially designed for the challenge.

Aviation hydraulic oil standards have been updated to include several new test methods while also tightening the standards for several existing tests. Phillips 66 X/C 5606H Aviation Hydraulic Oil already met the new standards and transitions to 5606J without a reformulation. The product maintains a high viscosity index, while being an ashless, antiwear hydraulic fluid. Product attributes include excellent oxidation resistance and outstanding low-temperature properties that stand up to a wide range of temperatures.

Phillips 66 X/C 5606J ensures excellent wear resistance for hydraulic pumps and motors, protects hydraulic system components against rust and corrosion, and resists excessive foam buildup that slows down hydraulic systems.

Product labels are updated to 5606J on all drum packages and updated quart packaging will launch later this month.
