RADCOLUBE FR170 is a premium fire resistant hydraulic fluid approved under Military Specification, MIL-PRF-46170E.
This  specification covers the requirements for a single type (Type I) of synthetic hydrocarbon based hydraulic fluid intended for use in a wide temperature range within recoil mechanisms, ground vehicle and equipment hydraulic systems or other critical military applications.

RADCOLUBE FR170 is an ISO VG 15, synthetic hydrocarbon base hydraulic fluid for use in the -40°C to 200°C (-40°F to 392°F) temperature range for recoil mechanisms, ground vehicles and equipment hydraulic systems.
This powerful fire-resistant hydraulic fluid is thermally stable and ensures continued performance in high temperature environments without the chance of combustion or thinning fluid.

In addition, this high quality hydraulic fluid is rust inhibiting which prevents the metal components interacting with the hydraulic fluid from corroding. While it can also double as an effective preservative medium for different hydraulic systems and equipment.
