Aviation Grade 120 Oils (equivalent in viscosity and thus synonymous with SAE 60 oils) are often intended for use in radial piston aircraft engines that are calling for Commercial Grade 120 engine oil or SAE 60 aviation oil.
Formulated from the finest base stocks of petroleum and formulated to protect against wear, Petroleum Service Company provides Phillips 66 Type A Aviation Oil 120AD – this oil contributes to engine cleanliness and greatly protects internal engine components from wear, due to its high viscosity. This oil may not be ideal for use in cold weather.
