Aviation Oil Outlet is proud to announce its support of the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation. We were approached by their founder Tim Chopp a few months back to see if we can get him better prices on his oil than he was getting from his current supplier. We managed to save him some money on his Radial Piston Engine oil, (Phillips 66 X/C 25w-60) but felt obliged to do more. We had the opportunity to travel to the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, PA to see the Spirit of Freedom in person and learn more about the events of The Berlin Airlift.
In addition to the video, aviationoiloutlet.com will be donating a portion of the proceeds from sales through the month of August. This donation will help Tim and his team keep their C-54 “Spirit of Freedom” alive and also help get their C-97 “Angel of Deliverance” off the ground.
